Infinity is king
Conviction aura will boost your Corpse Explosion damage (it's 50/50 fire and physical damage) as well as help your minions hit stuff with the - enemy defense. It's also huge damage and 40% crushing blow which will help you massively with bosses.
Treachery > Forti for merc armour in 99% of cases, and here is no exception, you want him proccing that CB on bosses as much as possible, and Fade will boost his survivability massively.
I usually go Guillaume's Face on a necro merc, because Life Tap, and you need all the crushing blow you can get as whatever you build will suck at killing bosses
Andariel's Visage is fine though, the +2 skills will boost his Might aura.
Pride is nice party damage boost but it's an awful merc weapon, you can always make an iron golem out of one
