I hope I posted this in the right place if not you can move it? Anyway I was wondering DS basically doubles your damage right? Does it only work once per monster or can it proc multiple times on the same monster? I was wondering the same for crushing blow ? It would help a bunch to get this question answered thank you very much!!

Deadly strike is the chance a successful melee attack will apply double physical damage. It will only roll once per attack but number of successful procs are not limited per-target. Critical Strike, either from the Amazon passive or Barbarian's weapon mastery, does exactly the same thing but is a separate calculation. If both exist simultaenously, only one can occur within one attack, so no chances of quadruple damage unfortunately.

Crushing blow is more straightforward, reduces monster health by a set percentage for each successful strike. Again, can only roll it once each hit, but the number of procs are not limited on a single target.

I'd recommend checking out the Amazon Basin's page on both, they've got a lot of good info :)

weird thing is that in D2 official "README/INDEX" file) it says it does xD , but it's not "True"

Q: I have a weapon with the Deadly Strike special ability. What does that mean?
A: Weapons with the Deadly Strike ability have a chance of dealing double damage. This bonus is applied after skills (such as Critical Strike) and any other damage bonuses. If you have both Critical Strike and Deadly Strike, you can do up to four times the normal damage in a single hit!

I think act 5 mercenaries, iron golems, and zon's Valkyrie have an innate Critical Strike chance that can proc alongside Deadly Strike for 4x damage, but yeah players can't. Perhaps it was something that was patched out at some point!
