I'm currently towards the end of act 5 normal with a frenzy barb and I'm in need of some more damage. I only have one amn so I can make either a strength or kings grace rw. Kings grace has better damage but strength has crushing blow. Is the small amount of CB on strength worth it over the pure damage of kings grace? I have a 3os war sword but different ideas for a base weapon are always appreciated.

How much cb do you have?

Kings Grace all the way. Especially on lower levels where you are not going to do a lot of boss runs anyway. Also cb is easier to come by than raw damage.

I'd say try a steel flail in main hand and strength flail in off-hand, I've seen that combo used by others and should get you to nm. Flails are faster than war sword and have higher avg damage, you can buy them from Fara in act 2. Gl

You’ll be doing Andy for some upgrades in nightmare as well as meph, so I say strength. Cb is huge for them for speeding up runs. Most enhanced damage on lower weapons won’t result in massive damage spikes, so it’s not worth it.

Thanks for your help everyone. While in the Durance of Hate I found a second amn in an evil urn so now I have a kings grace in a war sword and a strength in a flail. Win Win.
