I'm playing again after many years and I beat the game on Hell for the first time recently. I had to use a Sorceress because I was playing untwinked and lots of characters rely on excellent or specific weapons. I have been farming all of the usual areas and have found lots of armors, rings, amulets, etc... The highest rune I have is a Mal (after 6 hours of farming LK....). I'd like to solo Hell with my first character that uses a weapon. What kind of build can I/should I make with the weapons I have? (the ones in Bold are ones I find interesting and the most possible. I plan on using plugY so I can share a stash but I cant trade. If I am lucky I may be able to upgrade to elite but high end runewords are probably not going to happen. Obviously I'm new at this so difficult builds are probably a no go and I've never even played an assassin. I apologize if this has been asked before but most guides are based on "best gear" not just acceptable gear.

IK full set on a Barb is a solid hell clearing choice.
I run a bit with an IK barb on ladder and he can clear everything in hell.

It takes time to get the WW patterns down but that will come.

The butcher's pupil/runemaster combo would do pretty well on a frenzy barb for a while

I've farmed meph, LK, and the countess for another 5 hours today and I only got a few more uniques not worth using. Nothing higher than a sol rune...I've never even seen anything higher than a pul. I'm beginning to think that High runes are some sort of fake conspiracy that only exist in other peoples screenshots. All I want it a Lo for fortitude!

I've decided to go with a fury druid and use the IK maul. I also have few pieces of other IK gear, a cerebus pelt, some skill charms and skill amulets so I should be well on my way.

If you can get another Fleshripper, I vote dagger barb
