Hi, im considering clearing cow level for gold and socketable items and i wonder if summon/corpse explosion necro is good for this purpose?
I want him to be safe pick with maximum extra gold. I tried with hammer, worked pretty well but killing speed was average. Can necro do it faster/safer than other characters?
Anyone made eg necro in the past?

I think a gold find char best bet is running travincal. Options for barb sorc or hammerdin with gold find kits - fast and loads of gold

i always made a GF barb with BOTD on merc for killing - double cs with 6 lems on hand, wealth, gold wrap, dwards, cot on baba and merc, gf charms, chancies

you can get 750k-1mil per hell run.

barb just leap and merc kills all

Corpse explosion doesn’t scale off of p8 hp. It only does the damage based off of p1 damage, so it can be pretty slow to kill. Javazon would be much better of an option for kill speed, but if your gold finding primarily, you’ll have better time doing trav, as wezman said.

If you’re going for socketable items, it’ll just be slow.

Imo a baba GF running travincal with find item is the best. Just let the merc kill the monster and you will get full gold in 2-3 runs.
