hey, i wanted to know what would be the best gem/jool to put inside witchwild bow upped, to get the maximum damage input possible ?
-ohm (50ed) ?
-jool 15max/40ed ?
-jool 30max ?
- other ?

assuming I get all ias needed on other gear, and bow is upped to diamond bow

i usually do shael+nef but thats mostly for utility

pure dmg-wise i'd assume 2x ohms, if u can reach max IAS BP with other gears.
40 ed / 15 max dmg jools x2 is probs also a solid option for pure dmg



would need to test out which of those 2 combos yields moe dmg tho

did some maths on average damages

with 2x ohms, it's around 5 more dmg than 2x 30max jool
with 2x 15max/40ed, it's around 5 more dmg than 2x ohm

assuming my maths are right (for example, not sure if deadly stike/critical strike/amplified damage with atma, are calculated randomly, or always calculated on max dmg possible), i'll give a try with 2x ohm, don't think the difference with 15/40 will be huge

Congrats for using Witchwild, it's the 2nd best Strafe bow after Faith, but most people and bots just leave it on the ground. Windforce, Goldstrike and Faith are all better for Multi

Due to next delay I only try to hit 56 IAS, doesn't matter if it's on the bow or not for Strafe. Strafe has a 4 frame next delay getting to 9/2 is a waste and 8/2 is just too difficult for me in an 8 player game, I need damage more than more IAS.

So, I would go with whichever is cheaper between Ohms and 15-40 Jewels.

Hmm, will give a try with brand and goldstrike too (don't really know these bows) !

I don't love Brand, it certainly looks neat but I think Goldstrike and Windforce are better for Multi, I haven't seen a damage comparison, and again, Goldstrike is just left on the ground. But in some Ancient AmazonBasin threads they were all ripped down to bare numbers. That was before Faith. Lycander's Aim is pretty good if you do any elemental damage, but it falls behind the other ones in my opinion for anything else, and since I play Enchanted it doesn't matter.

Oh, the other thing about Witchwild, the level 20 Magic Arrow will kill phys immunes in an 8 player game, if you are enchanted it's even pretty quick. I have killed some very scary Hephaesto's with it.
