Hi Folks

A few years back before the great tinypic purge I had posted my Assassin's WT which I had a lot fun doing, but, took a break due to IRL and then came back to all the images being purged so thought that was the end of the road.

With COVID and my job being made permanently remote I've had a lot of excess time during the day and recently, thanks to all of your lovely WT's, I have made my way back to Diablo 2. Unfortunately, I lost my most up to date save over the years, but, had a backup on my laptop that was only a wee bit off from where I left. I also leveled a sorc in the meantime so we're going to be starting off here with a leveled and geared Sorceress + Assassin.

I was never one to just play 1 char on b.net - I always had nearly a full account of MF'ing characters with another account dedicated to my PVP characters so I wanted to mirror that for my SP playing experience and just do a full shared stash grail run instead of focusing primarily on a singular character. With that being said, once I figure out what character I like to play the most I do also want to hit the real grail of D2, level 99. In the 20 years I've played this game on and off I've hit 97 and 98 on multiple occasions without ever grinding all the way to 99. The character that happens with is likely to be either one of my 2 I already have made, or a javazon/hammerdin.


Short term goals:
Gear fury druid to be an uber slayer to start collecting torches
Amazon + Paladin leveled and geared
Continue clearing out Meph's loot table for all the grail items he can drop.
LK on sin until I can make a COH

Long term:
At least one level 99
Geared characters of each class
Completed SC Grail
Transition into HC grail

As you can see from the grail screenshot I have a decent chunk of items already collected. I'm going to post a screenshot of some of my notable pickups that I already have including the runewords I made on my assassins walkthrough. Bear in mind if you don't check out the previous WT - I have done A LOT of LK runs. An awful lot of them; when I was in the office there was a 2 month stretch that i was running LK on and off throughout most of the day.

I'll also be playing some over TCP/IP with my 2 brothers occasionally, 1 of which who has never really played D2, and, the other played a bit of classic prior to LOD's release. We're all using going to be using PlugY, but in terms of items everything will be legit with no imports or edits. I expect a lot of the shared play time will be spent leveling as I'm not sure how into MF'ing they will be when we clear the game. We'll likely dabble in some HC self-found after they get a feel for the game as well w, but I'm not sure if I'll be making separate WT's for those or include those in here.

Rules are simple:
Kill Demons
Collect loot
Have fun

Good luck! I tried doing a holy grail of my own, but after 4 years of jumping in and out of it, and 30 items before the finish line, i finally lost patience... too bad i don't have the dedication for it.

Oof, I can understand that - that's kinda what happened to my original assassin's WT. I'd like in occasionally for a few days at a time. It wasn't until I went through a list of games working from home that I ended up back here. At least with SP you can pick up where you left off!

100 LK runs brought me nothing but tears of sadness yesterday when I realized how long farming another Ber would take


Had some issues with TCP/IP last night and crashing - didn't get too many screenshots, but, did find a grail item leveling my brother's sorc in tristram (already was lvl 16 on zon so ran him through a couple times to catch him up)





Only S/S after that - acquiring the staff; we stopped for the evening before hitting the Arcane Sanc. I think we ended with me at level 22 and him at level 21

This is my current assassin gear I'm using to do LK Runs




30 Fr/w Circ
Cat's Eye
Harmony
Enigma
Mav's Belt
Aldur's Boots

All the charms are F/RW + Resist - I've only kept f/rw charms that have res or max damage/ar



This is the current map I have - 6 chests right outside of WP's, one of the weapon racks loves dropping threshers and one of the armor racks loves dropping pally shields. Would love to pick up a nice ST for paladin's spirit from that rack

Ty! It pains me to know that when I didn't care about grail I just wasn't storing anything so I have to recollect a bunch that I've looted before :[.

I also accidently joined our TCP/IP game on my sorc last night and ripped my map which was an all around perfect map to farm everything. Time to reroll 1,000 times until I get something similar

Oh man, sorry to hear that. Happened to me many times to spamming "H" button to enter hell and I accidentally pushed "R" or "N" instead and screwed up all my good maps in hell difficulty :(

The worst! I've definitely hit "N" a few times on accident in my day.

Since my main focus on sorc will be Meph until I get maras + draculs I think I'll stick this one out for a bit. LK has 6 chests on this too that I can hit when I do meph, albeit a bit away from the WP. I'll worry about rerolling down the line when I stop Meph.. even the 20 minutes I just spent were painful
