If you find shako right after you sock it, would you regret it? If no then do, if yes then dont.

Circ also +style points over sock hat

On one hand - it's a single pass WT. The chance to find Shako is small.
On the other hand - you're an assasin. Don't you have enough res with Fade?

Could be worth it if you don’t plan on continuing for fun afterwards

Nice find!
If you can progress without problems you could hold on to your socket-q it until you might find Shako (or SoJ ;-))
If you have trouble surviving, go for socket. It's a nice piece of gear!

This, with fade, i wouldn't waste the socket quest just for 15 more res...

Merc could use more use from a Um rune im sure....
