Hi guys, been running Hell mephy for a bit now and just found HLs. I am quite confident in replacing angelic combo with HLs and a 30 nagel but I want to hear the communities input on this one, here are the relevant comparative stats:

Angelics: HLs and 30 nagel:
11485 AR 83% chance to hit Hell Meph 5836 AR 70% chance to hit Hell Meph
20% DS 54% DS
25% CB 25% CB
207% MF 237% MF

The two factors here being kill speed and MF. I believe kill speed is faster with the HLs combo and obviously MF would be too. What do you guys think, can anyone flick out some quick math? Also merc has 35% CB.

My math would be (using 1000 as an arbitrary number)

1000 * 1.2 * 0.83 = 996 damage for Angelics (irrespective of higher chance of CB)

1000 * 1.54 * 0.7 = 1078 damage for Highlord's (~8% greater than angelics, not to mentioned the additional 30% MF)

So based on pure damage HLs wins, but given the effectiveness of CB against bosses would the increased hit chance make enough of a different to counterbalance the 8% damage increase and 30% MF?

Assuming you maxed Fana and Zeal an AR grand charm or two could help to reach a lvl of AR around 6-7k which would be sufficient to get around 75% - HL is too good to pass and in case you are moving on from MFing, the Nagel could also be replaced with a High AR dualleech rare/craft ring.
I wonder how long the runs take you, guessing that you are taking meph down in seconds, it shouldn't make a huge difference in general.
