Hi folks!

After short break, I'm here for another WT. This time it will be Necromancer Summoner focused on Skelletons and Corpse Explosion. Probably my fav character. Meet Bob!

Bob decided to create small start up company. His goal for now is to establish office in small garage (camp) and look for some employees. He's aiming for skelletons due to low salary expectations and relatively good quality of work. After hiring initial workers he will try to expand to east to set up new offices.

Rules:

• players1 - I like progressing slowly with character development
  
• p8 allowed for some reruns when I get stuck or bored
  
• HC, LoD
  
• No mods, no ladders rws
  
• 1.14d

Goal is to finnish game without excessive exping and MFing. I don't plan to abuse lk. I hope to find some nice wand and necro shield with bonuses to RS and SM

I must admit - I almost died 3 times in cold plains. Thankfully Blood Raven went easier than I thought. Skellies cornered her.



But check this out. It took me 15 min to buy this baby. I knew that early levels give me the best chance to find this beauty. I think at lvl 6 or 7 I will start seeing lvl 12 spells which would lower my chances.




My end game weapon? I guess Hoto is next improvement lol. It may be possible to shop white or 2s bone wand with 3 RS, 3 SM. If you make White RW in it, it would give whooping +7 SM. I don't think I will have low level enough for it. Also you need good map with exit next to Drognan

So I decided to give it a go and try to buy white base with 3SM 3RS. After all - I'm lucky today. I started rushing through Act1 trying not to kill too many things. Everything is almost oneshotted by skiellies with amp. Got lvl 12, apparently lvl 13 is sweet spot for Drognan - high enough to see bone wands, low enough no to see 18 lvl skills on wands. I even rolled map with entrance next to Drognan. perfect!

Then I went to Act1 to exp a bit my merc, because it was too weak to kill anything in Act1. And guess what I found...



When I launched D2 I said to myself: "it would be funny if I find 3RS 3SM wand AND Gull. i wouldn't know which one to use...". Lol I'm lucky today.

So my next stop was Horardic Cube. When I arrived at it I was surprised that no one guarded it... I thought that there will be always boss waiting. Strange.


Then I made polearm for my merc. Not bad, I think it's lowest level req possible. I wish it had cold damage on it, so I wouldn't need to put points into decrepify for bosses. I could put sooner 3 skillpoints into skellies

So I said that I won't be grinding lk until I beat the game. But couldn't resist grinding broken necro shields... There is a recipe 1 chippped gem, broken shield, el rune = new normal shield with ilvl = 1. This gives you fresh necro shield with chance for skill mods. And because it is lvl 1, there can be up to 6 lvl spells only. This gives you chance for shield with 3RS 3SM which would be sick considering I have such wand!

Of course I wasn't so lucky, but my 4th or 5th shield arrived with 3RS! Which isn't that crazy considering that there are only 10 skills to be rolled from. But still it gives me lvl 20 skellies at level 17



Now imagine having 3RS 3SM wand and shield, tarn help, eye of etrlich amu. At char level 20 with rada and den, you could have 28RS and 9SM... Would be amazing...

Anyway I toppped that with regular Stealth armor.


I'm quite sure my shield can have 2s despite ilvl 1. Will try to make Splendor in it for +4 RS prebuff shield later on

Did some progress, nothing fancy, but then...

Flayes Dungeon lvl3. Killed Witch Doctor but there is no chest on on this level so I can't get Khalim's brain... Can my character be messed up? I didn't see guards near cube in A2


I will try again later on of course, but it's funny lol

Holy crap, it was in the middle of the map. I have never seen it before in d2, it was always next to witchdoctor for me


Tried rerolling magic necro shield with spiked club + 2x chipped skulls, but it gives higher lvl spells. I guess it depends on ilvl of magic item, so probably I would need to hunt in a1 for necro shield for this recipe

I do not remember to take screenshots Diablo was very easy, had to go to town once, because I messed up with golem and Diablo killed skellies. Killed him without dec, just amp. It's so easy, almost feels like cheating. Probably that's how hammer players feel lol
