I am starting a d2 completion challenge, beating the game on single player softcore px with each character around the fire and im starting with javazon.

Can anyone recommend how to skill a pvm javazon as I progress? I figure max CS and synergies, but should I put points into the passives and a strong valk or focus on damage?

Lvl 17 valk can support you on dmg when a mob is immune.
I dont think you need her before hell.

Basic CS and Fury with synergies. Nothing special on the java side. Passive you really only need 2 main ones: Pierce and valk.

Pierce goes a long way with lightning fury. If you can find a razortail, it gives 33% pierce already so you dont have to skill it to much. I think level 6 or 9 gives 66% for a total of 99 w/ razor. That shit is night and day compared to no/low pierce.

Also yea a stronk valk is nice but you wont really need one until later on. Would still keep 1 pt in there from lvl 30 though just as an extra distraction for mobs. You can start adding more before you start hell, but honestly you can skip a lot of light immunes anyway. Plus you'll have your merc.

For endgame you dont need valk, just decoy. If you play selffound it makes a lot of situations a little easier to handle.
