I like the CB and might on LW wouldn’t it be more smite dmg than grief ?

No.

for the first few hits it is more damage, yes, but overall grief will kill faster

for Budget use black
for good use grief

grief = +400 = dmg times 3
lw might = 200ed = dmg times 1.15
and you can get cb from equipment slots that don't lose you the oportunity to triple your dmg
