Working on a Dreamer pali.
So far it seems like lw is my prefered weapon and lets me use LOH.

the question is does a whisp help my dmg much?
I read a few random posts where it increases dmg. If not what is a good second ring?

followup - I put on HOJ and dragon for that 30 holy fire and 30 shock but it did not increase my dmg much at all. Is there a reason for this?

If you want to make a dreamdin use:
grief pb
eni
hl
loh
raven
rare stat ring
soe
gores

The reason why your damage doesn't increase much with lvl30 fire is because lvl 30 fire aura only gives you around +1.3k average damage before any -res or conviction
If you really want to make a dual dream, hoj, dragon din you have to adjust your ias by either use hoj pb (which gives you absolutely no damage), switch to fana (which isn't useful because you won't do much phys damage anyway) or use a1 faith merc which is also useless except for providing aura.
Nonetheless I do like to go for them from time to time as they are still quite fun to play and there is no possibility for any immune mob. Just remember that they are extremely squishy due to lack of high physdamage and almost no gear choice to select because of ias issues (so no dracs or much %ll for example)

I had a pala which wasable to kill anything and tank a lot using

I activated conviction obviously

Also had a grief pb and loh around whenever the repair costs got annoying.
The latter setup kills way faster but i liked the cb for bosses a lot and it felt like i was getting more safety with leeching from dracs.

awesome thanks. I will try these builds. I liked the lw because i could uber when i want with it without it im missing CB but i could carry that and a greif.
