Sup guys, recently I've been experiencing micropauses (1 second or so) in gameplay. The game does not progress so I'm not at risk of death but it's more a continuity of play issue. Any have this issue/know of any fixes?

Currently running:
Glide
sp2 compatibility mode
256 reduced color
running as admin

Notice any increased usage in your hardware when d2 is running? Can check in task manager

Windowed or Full screen?

Not that I've noticed but I'll check when I get the chance. Full screen.

I know it's not an absolute fix since if you're playing FS You probably rather it that way (I don't), but try windowed mode. Has fixed lag/interruption for a lot of people just switching to windowed in my experience

I have the same issue but I run D2 thru an external disk drive which is USB.

That could be my problem

too many screenshots in d2 folder
