So recently, this was my first switch from ladder to non ladder; many years ago there wasn't ladder.
First, I'm painfully aware of farming and the frustrating aspect of that. Second, I'm not basing this frustration on just a few runs(more like 1000 runs) I'm using the same character( level 94 currently)I farmed in ladder with in non ladder. I'm doing the same highest area levels possible and do them quickly 1 player games.

What I've noticed is not the quantity of uniques changed, that's about the same. But the biggest difference I see is the ilevels. I still get plenty of rares and uniqes but all levels are significantly lower then they were prior. Used to see a lot of 67s, now I'm lucky to see 45-50. And why that matters is the stats required for some gg gear can't be there if the level is lower. I had an 8 hour session last week, where not a single item was over 50(magical/rare/unique).

To summarize, is this pretty standard for non ladder or it feels like the game thinks my character level is lower then it actually is. Any advanced help would be appreciated.

Ps have similar results while crafting items as in the levels are always pretty low.

All games are in hell, I have almost zero playing time in anything besides hell outside of doing rushes for someone

then whatever 3rd party tool you use to see ilvl is wrong.

No third party tools. Do you know what the classes and versions of each item are? As in they go up from normal to exceptional to elite. When the required level is below 50 you cant get certain versions of that item as they require higher levels. So basically you just outright cant get certain uniques and even many rares(like collusus blade, diadems, jewelers prefix, visionary prefix, many of the skill prefixes)
So for example getting a 2skill/30 frw/20 fcr helm is next to impossible without getting higher level items(most are level 67 req)

he did not insult you, he told you whats true, you can not see the ilvl directly, you can only know with the area level and the monster type you killed. level requirement has nothing to do with it.
yes there are certain ilvls needed for certain stats and with those the level requirement also changes, but because you did not get items with high level req does not mean you dont have items with high item level.
