Just stay away from fire enchanted Monsters and you can do it buddy

This is what happened its the most common way to die in Nightmare. You really need to be aware and careful of it.

That said, good luck and have fun and I hope you got yourself a nice new keyboard.

With the sorc I would recommend using teleport very sparingly because thats how most people die with sorcs.
