Just wondering if it's a good idea to swap my Occy for a Death Fathom for my Orb + FB sorc?

The FB does about 6.5k which is pretty good for killing in hell but the Orb only does close to 850 dmg and ain't as great.

Still get +3 skills for the fb and potentially boosting orb 30%. Unless you desperately need the 50 mf I don’t see why occy would be better in this build

I guess if you aren’t reaching the fcr breakpoint with the 10fcr loss occy would be better.

I guess I can keep the occy around for MF runs. The only thing the Occy does provide tho is the resistances.

Fathom gives more light and fire resist which are the important resists anyways. So the only real way occy beats fathom is the 10 more fcr and 50mf

Death fathom, without a doubt !
It offers everything you need on an hybrid build.
You can aim for >15K fireball and >1K orb with damage-orientated gear, such as Death fathom.

What's a good way to increase the fireball dmg as well?

Fire facets in every slot, magefists and skillers

What's your current build in the first place ?
