Anyone else experience slow menu in d2? In character selection etc. I think it's the last day for me after a windows update (running windows 10)..

Maybe its all them souls weighing you down from dieing so much...

If your not connected to internet, it would have to be your computer???

I noticed my screen freezes for 2-5 seconds when I take screenshot, if I have too many screenshots in my folder.

Maybe it has something to do with that, try cleaning up your d2 folder of unnecessary screenshots

Mine does this but only for the first screenshot in any given session. After the first one it’s all good.

I have a similar problem to OPs but mine is that my screen freezes when I exit game. An LK run takes 40 seconds but about 4 seconds of it is just staring at the save and exit screen. After I click exit game it just freezes for 4 seconds before returning to main menu 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Looked for answers a year or two ago but have given up since

Okey buddy. Well I looked into the latest updates and it seems to be some soundrelated stuff that might have something to do with it. When I don't have any sound in d2 it is going smooth ingame but when I enable it it starts to lagg alot. I will look into this and see if I can switch driver or something.

Edit: It's like crazy lagg. Unable to play as long as I got sound option on in game... weird?

Ok so I tried to plug in my headphones. Then I have zero lagg in the menu or in game when turning sound on.

Haha wtf.. It was only at the character selection right?
I fixed a similar issue last time i played some on lan with a friend, by re-installing my ages old installation
That solved the issue

Mine does both of these too

For screens I just take one at the start of a session in town. Helps keep track of where things are. Also eliminates potential lag in a scary spot while trying to grab a screen.
