Hello and welcome!

This thread will be devoted to my Druid in a series of walkthroughs with a common theme: they must all use an oskill as main attack. In case of Wayne the oskill of choice is Berserk, which is obtained by wielding the runeword Passion.

I decided to start with the Druid because I never really play them but I think they have such a cool kit and also Passion does not require any runes that are hard to obtain but some of the other planned walkthroughs will.

Here are the rules:

  • This character will be played on Hardcore Single Player.
  • No restriction on player setting. It will largely depend on my killing speed.
  • Plugy respecs is allowed.
  • This walkthrough will be done untwinked with one exception: I can use the runes and bases I have found on my Hardcore Sorceress that I leveled last week. For the future walkthroughs in this series, this will also apply.

(The runes and base in the video was farmed on my Sorceress.)

I made a small video of me creating Wayne and rolling the Passion runeword on him:

Unfortunately I wont be able to play right now, so updates will come in the evening / night.

Hope you will enjoy this series of mine ;)

Any reasoning behind using that base?

I can easily hit 9fpa without Treachery (more options) and besides Staves just look cool on Druids B)

Den of Evil cleared.

Corpsefire dropped this nice jewel.

Poison Creeper is really nice for early levels, it cleared all of Blood Ravens minions in no time.

The Smith dropped me my first bling. Not using because I like 3 rows of potions better.

Andariel slain. Took me a few minutes.

After I acquired the cube I put a Belt, Kris, Staff & Flawed Diamond in it. Pretty happy with the result.

War Hammer becomes available at level 21 through gambling and provides a decent melee damage upgrade.

Pikes become available at level 20 through gambling and are really good until the "Savage Polearm" is useable.

Radament was no problem.
