So i am playing really casually, actually started my wt in mid Feb on and off. never done a bowazon before (not since early days anyway)

Its a p8 progression HC bowzon walk.

I am currently in Act 1 hell (level 81)

i have a Lycander's Aim which i have upped
helm i have 2 os tiara 40 life with one 15ias jewel and one 37 ed jewel
Belt i have nos and goldwrap
i have wt boots
1 ama 30 str amulet
armour is lionheart


Basically farmed half decent gear, but i cant kill shit in p8 hell and im getting rekt

i know i need a raven and a lem for treachery as obvious upgrades, but what else should i aim for? any way to improve my damage or survive ability?


a p8 pit run takes me 30 minutes and i almost die 3-4 times. i have allowed any p setting for re runs but even p1 pit runs are agonisingly slow - is it just because im used to cookie cutter builds? !?!?

LoH gloves would be nice. Atma's ammy is prob your best upgrade other than those. a 4 os elite bow base for a Harmony could be nice. helm isn't bad but you could increase your DPS with several options imo, guili or even g skulls. ranged CB penalty penalty sucks, but could help.

survivability for me comes down to a combination of patience and using freezing arrow with valk/decoy

An Amazon with Faith or pride merc, Windforce, 120/45 Helm, Atmas amulet, Fortitude, Loh, Razortail and 37x322s still hit like shit in p8 hell compared to other builds sadly..

did you maxed crit ? how much dex ?
As said Loh/treachery/razortail will give you 2x better killspeed, but without faith/wf your runs will always be slow on p8

i did enough base vitality to get 1k life then the rest in dex- high 200 + without looking.

I did crit to lvl 17 or so with dimisishing returns kicking in, same for perice as i miss razortail, maxed valk, and main skill guided arrow and multishot.

Switch to p1 and just say it is p8

yeah well ive given up on publishing it anyway, so it doesnt matter. but i wanted to complete a bowa p8 to hell baal


Ive managed to kill hell andy. but it was tough. not sure if i should go back and farm nm some more.


(edit) i kind of think if i go and spend ages farming a raven and razortail i will still come to hell and RIP

Sadly lycanders is not a very good bow when upped.
Upped goldstrike is probably best besides wf/eagle. Nonupped buri then. But youll have to use what u find, i know.

Maybe an a5 lawbringer merc could help too.

Valk lvl 17 is enough afaik.

Also is try to farm p3 pits. Best mix of 'nodrop'/health/dmg imo.

Edit: yes bow ama is probably the slowest char without good gear, so its the opposite of the cookie cutters u are used to.

Farm meph for Guli and raven. Could use vampire gaze too to get more sustain.
Iirc I used gaze + crafted lifesteal/ar ring to keep myself alive and running
Farm LK for Lem

Should make runs slightly better. However, bowzon can't compete with majority of other builds, even with end game itemization
