I understand you want to hit max def but how much dex does that actually require? Any info will be helpful. Thanks!

there is no such thing like "max def", I think you mean max block which depends on your shield type/holy shield level

there are calculators for that

afaik you dont have to put any points on dex to reach max block with hammer if your gear is high end

This. I would get your end game gear and then all the points in holy shield you’re going to do and then put point by point into dex until you reach 75% block.

Don't forget to cast holy shield before when your putting dex for max block
