Multishot is usually best, but strafe can win out in narrow corridors

Strafe for bosses? or do people pump points into ga when they are strafe? I’ve only done two bowazons and one died lvl 26  and at 85. Was a multi/ga zon.

Multi should be better for CS except corridors. Remember that only two (four?) middle arrows carry on hit affects. For strafe every arrow carries on hit effects.

ias(turn it up a lot)(make that breakpoint)(or just be safe knowing might be ice'd slow'd) + fhr(super zon)(archers mages fast runners, leapers chargers etc) + leech / life tap

strafe

~ 25 % damage reduction

full res + or - 5

magic for immune
ga for single target
ms for everything else
strafe has a nextdelay which basically makes it miss half the shots, which means that even if all monsters are perfectly lined up, it's not really better than ms
strafe is better if there are like 2 enemies in opposite directions, which shouldn't happen

Here's some analysis about strafe and next delay https://www.diabloii.net/forums/threads/an-explanation-and-analysis-of-next-delay-for-strafe.146666/. I don't think it's that crutial in real scenarios.

well according to this, with 3fpa strafe you get "4 hits in 28 frames" which is an actual 7fpa which is just as much as using multishot
if monsters are not aligned, ms is vastly superior because it hits everything every 7 frames instead of 2 monsters every 7 frames
if monsters are aligned, both strafe and ms hit everything every 7 frames
