Haven't really done a walk-through on single player so looking for a little help

I think I got the runes.txt right but I'm wondering how to set the game mode to p8.

Also, not that this is a wt thread or an official walk through, but my shifter druid "Devour" is now lvl 20 and in act 2. He does fairly well in p8 all through act 1 and doesn't have much if any trouble so far.

After a few hours of grinding I had to step away.

IIRC, X could take on values from 1 to 64 back in 1.09a and 1.09b, then 1 to 8 since 1.09c.
