Enigma + Hoto, get merc with might/pride. Beast ain't worth it imo.

i like carin shard as weapon, but thats just preference.

Beast/enigma

get all your minions up with hoto then swap to beast

Enigma is a must for mobility and gathering/directing your army.

For merc I’d go Gulli helm (Cham), Treachery, and Infinity. He doesn’t need life leech because you have Life Tap

If you want Pride make an iron golem out of it; it’s a terrible merc weapon. Insight is also a great (and very cheap) iron golem.

Other gear is pretty standard caster stuff. Shako, Arach, SoJ, Trang gloves. Boots are kinda flexible, I usually go WTs. HotO is probably best but I like Arm of King Leoric for the style points. It’s a good summoning stick, in any case.

Homunculus is fine if you’re okay with 75FCR breakpoint (HotO/gloves/Arach); I prefer to use Spirit and an FCR ring to hit 125, but that’s just preference.

Beast doesn’t actually do a great deal for general play but it’s good for Ubers.
