Hi everyone. I like hybrid ama playstyle, and I wanted some insight about it.

On Eth titans switch I use lightning fury for non light immunes pack and charged strike for bosses mainly.

On bow side I really hesitate between :

- magic arrow (for Phys+ light immunes which make my titans switch useless) + strafe

- Cold arrow + ice arrow.

I am aware the second choice will make unable to kill Phys + light + cold immunes, if there is some.

I won't use infinity or tresher. I am aware this setup looks weird but I love it a lot 😍
Just thorn between the two boWs choices.
Don't flame me because I don't play infinity java please. For me it's like hammerdin, better not playing the game, too boring too simple. And as I play for fun...

Cold arrow and ice arrow are crap. Every Amazon I’ve ever played is hybrid LF/CS with Freezing Arrow/multi shot, and utilizes slow missiles, valk, decoy, and even jab occasionally.

Ideally you’ll want Eth titans, COH, Ice bow, etc. infinity helps a lot with this hybrid but is still not essential.

You never tried the physical version, magical arrow + strafe, along with multi shot, with a cheap but cute bow like Wf ? it has a funky package with big phys/ dmg and knockback + mana leech and open slot.

Ice doesnt seem appealing to me, vs, lets say, faith, which got insane advantages for lower cost, this one seems absolutely scary, at a cost of course, one Hr, i have the 4s +3 ed gmb tho, so it could be interesting.

I’ve still never found a wind force, and as I only play single player, may never find one. But I’ve watched plenty of videos on the wind force / faith merc build. And while it does look like fun, I can’t even remotely imagine it being more tactically viable than the build that I generally run.

Furthermore, I would wager that wind force is only superior when applied to an already decided fully physical build, whereas a +3 ice bow not only shines but is down right overpowered in many situations when considering the LF/CS in switch.

Thee hybrid is an incredible success, I made hell solo from start to finish, without any trouble at all, the gameplay is beautiful with 10+ shortcuts inconstantly use. Exactly what I love, not as trippy as my martial assassin, but it is my second preferred char.
Now i make a second ama, pure bowa this time, I really wanna try faith, and pure bow with CTA switch to go full dexterity glass canon , for once, on HC of course, makes things interesting !
