I recently started playing d2 again and my first build is a Wolf barbarian.

He is using:
Forti
Stormshield
Wolfhowl
Grief PB
Verdungo
Highlord
2x BK ring
Gore rider
and dual hoto on switch for cries

He only has trouble killing the physical immune. But for the most part he is awesome.

Atm I'm still missing a MERC

I would like some advice on which merc to use and what to equip him or her with.

You dont self use cham or raven for Frozen?

Reapers for merc it helps vs physical immunes

I put Um in Storm so I can only put Cham in the Helm

This doesnt hit the 75% ias breakpoint so that shael in weapon could be a 15ias jewel just the same
Could also put 15ias jewel in merc helm to get 75%ias on merc

hoto+cta = 7bo

2 less to shout
2 less to shapeshifting skills
2x hoto is better

Doesn’t get much better than this.

Would maybe swap the Cham for 15/15 jewel for highest IAS bp

Edit: could go with 15ias/adds jewel in Reaper’s too but Shael is so cheap
