Hello,

I have just reinstalled d2 after so many years. It’s a new start from zero, what is the best Option for solo play at the moment.
My short goal is:
-Be able to farm the nightmare mode.

Questions
- Class ?
- Specialization ?
- When and where start to farm ?

Class: play what you like
Specialization: refer to previous statement
When and where to start to farm: depending on class, most farm eldrich/ shenk for early levels and some possible upgrades nothing really crazy in normal. Once you get to nightmare, many classes farm the hell outta Andy for the bis early game gear. And those depend off of class/build. And then again nm meph for similar stuff with chances of end gear items.

Prob missing some stuff but that should get you started.

I would recommend sorceress. Freedom to teleport without enigma makes farming easier. Playing sorc also gives you a better idea of how to play safely because she can be fragile

blizzard sorc is always a nice way to start fresh - very nice mf with low gear and time investment, basically impossible to die on unless very bad, extremely/laughably OP in non-CI areas

Alot of people are willing to give decent gear away, if you go sorc msg me and I can give a few items

He’s referring to the fact he’s playing single player, not online to trade other players.

/e well maybe not exactly. But typically people post here for single player solo play could technically be looked at either online solo or single player
