i'm not that familiar with how the explosion from dolls work tbh.

Your ability to tank dolls benefits from these things. Defense, Block chance, fire resistance, fire absorb, and %damage reduction as well as PDR.

Edit : because doll explosions are half fire and half physical

I would suggest guardian angel armor for your sorc. It increases your chance to block and allows you to have 90 all res.
