Hey diablo freaks!
i have a problem.
i tried to get hell unleashed working on my new win10 gaming laptop, but it just wont work.

It seems not to be a problem with D2SE, but with the D2 or plugy exe in the d2 folder, because i cant start them. Only the shortcuts on the desktop with -win and -directtext work.

When i start the glide-init exe in my d2 folder, it only shows a black screen for a sec, and then closes.

Thats the error i get upon trying to start the mod with D2SE:



Anyone got an idea?

update:

today i fooled arround like 2 mins. changing compatibility settings in the p***y and d2.exe and for the glide wrapper. Now it works, but after closing d2 completely i get these 2 Messages. Any idea how to fix this?

I play with windows 7 compat and in windows mode maximised
Otherwise, I also have nonsense in Win10

Win10 is a joke :/

I have the same windows popping when I close the game too, must be win10 + others mods installed

I dont think you can do something about it, but no worries as long as you can run the game anyways

D2se gives me those same two windows after closing d2. Must be a windows 10 thing

i use windows 10 without issues,

i can remember having issues when i first installed the game.

Can't remember exactly what i done, but certainly run as admin, and something along the lines of needing to change the service pack software version in the preferences to windows 7 service pack 2

hell unleashed was about 10x worse then Median

Run D2VidTst.exe as administrator in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode. Choose de glide. Restart computer. Set Game.exe to Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode. Run Plug*.exe as aministrator.
