So I've got a WT going on currently as a Zealer... I just hit Hell.. and JEEZ. The damage output is SO BAD. Is it viable at all or am I just killing myself? Debating respecting to a Hdin to finish out the WT but don't want to just abandon it if it can scale up.

What is your weapon? What players setting are you playing on? And do you have goblin toes?

Edit: I also am assuming you mean a classic walkthrough? since zealots are especially challenging in classic.

It's just a rare weapon atm, nothing special. P1, No GTyet. And yeah Classic WT.

Just know that a classic fanaticism zealer on classic is a challenge but it can be done. You need goblin toes first and foremost. Everything else should be the best rare items you can find which will be a never ending journey of upgrades. Your best zealot weapon in classic will be the divine scepter, and I recommend you use all your imbues on those. it has the base speed and range that you need, and can spawn with godly mods for a zealot. Examples of the best possible mods you can get on these would be

+2 Paladin skills
+40 Increased Attack Speed
+200% ED
Ignores Target’s Defense
+Cold Damage
+20 Max Damage
Life Leech / Mana Leech
Up to 40% Per Resistance
+3 Zeal
+3 Charge
+3 Vigor

And probably some other useful ones I’m forgetting.
Obviously you wont get ALL of those mods, but you actually could get almost all of them on one divine scepter, they just can only spawn with like 9 mods at most, I believe.

Now, in the meantime, I would suggest making it your priority finding gtoes before attempting hell. It will make even the weakest of weapons capable of hitting hard. That means you’ll probably want to try to find the fastest weapon base you can get in the meantime even if they don’t have the godliest stats, like any decent rare dimensional blades, divine scepters, or rune swords.
