Uber Mephisto inflicts -125% fire/light/cold resistance (and -90% defense). There's no need to stack more.
Assuming you help with around +110% res via Salvation, assuming base resistance of your mercenary is 60% (in hell) :
60 + 30 (fortitude) + 110 (salvation) - 125 (conviction) = 75%
You don't need Treachery, nor Kira or Guardian angel.
Stick to : BotD (or any high damage weapon, like Obedience, Tomb reaver or Doom) + Fortitude + Guillaume's face, might mercenary.
You will need a way to prevent them from regenerating : some poison damage (like 2 seconds jewel in helm), or Open wounds (like Doom).
A perfect emerald in Tomb Reaver stops regeneration for more than 7 seconds...
Mephisto is immuned to poison (as Lilith) but is the weakest of all 6 Uber monsters (only 20% DR).
When not facing him, help the merc with either Fanatism or Concentration.
The only problem I can see are the minions, who could distract the merc and finally damage him.
You can help with a dagger or wand with Terror charges, or Confuse charges.
The hardest challenge would be Lilith, who has immunity to poison, high physical res and block. Against her, another setup could be useful (based on DR from GBane or everlasting circlet).
