Hey all.

Ive had ladder rws enabled via runes.txt, as per the instructions in the sticky.

It has been working perfectly fine, until yday (had a windows update).

Tried to make insight, nothing happened, no magic... just gemmed polearm. I was ok, maybe u cannot make it into grim scythe...whatever. wanted to make a spirit just for test, also isnt working.

Deleted the data/excel maps... , followed the instructions how to enable it from start, tried another insight as i found all ingredients, and boom, another mix wasted.

I am playing a players 8 poison necromancer, and i d really like the insight, as its painful with the pots:)

Any tipps? Maybe the windows update overrode it or smth? Any suggestions?

some runewords only work on ladder..

yesyes, but there are ways to make them work on SP:)

anyways it worked before, so its weird it stopped. I now ticked run as administrator, so lets see if it will work. I ll know after I collect the runes & base again:)

try remove writing protect on the d2 folder before u edit that thing to get ladder rws.
and ofc run as admin.

i havent tried modding in d2, but done a lot on baldurs gate and those two things can fuck it up, espesially if its under c:program files(x86) folder. or maby it was the one without x86 that haf most issues, cant remember xD
