While *Guillaume's* does offer some sweet crushing blow and valuable hit recovery, it doesn't offer life leech which is so crucial on a melee merc.
I'm surprised no one mentioned Andariels Visage. I'll toss in a vote for the IAS and LL, but I do agree that Guillaumes is arguably better for most mercs.
