i'm playing hc so ima use stormshield and not spirit for safety but anyway is energy shield worth it or will it kill me? and is shiver armor better than chilling armor?

also would like to know what build would be best w/o infinity, pure blizz, meteorb? i seen people go lightning with infinity but i can't afford one rn

No ES for HC

Go blizz and run meph and tunnels

When you can afford infinity respec to light

If you don't yet have a cta then find an orb with + points into chilling armour to save skill points and use that on switch otherwise use frozen armour and use your skill to doge attacks

I prefer shiver armor. Differrently to the other armors, it slows the attackers attack animation from start, so it actually needs more time to land the first hit. So there is more time to run/tele away.

What about ladder RWs in non-modded SP?

Frozen armor is the best cuz it's 1 point. I wouldn't use stormshield without griffons, very hard to reach 117 fcr without spirit. I would only use stormshield as lightning soso.

Blizzard is the best spec without infinity, ancient tunnels op!

Funny. Tals is very cheap and highly effective. My tals light sorc does 33k lightning, 125% fcr, 314 mf, 1.3k mana, 2.2k life, max res(except poison), the set+ 3x facets gives -30 to light res.

My other sorc is a twin version except 105 fcr and does 5.2k FB and 5.5k blizz, I use infinity on here as well with 3x fire facets which becomes -115% to fire res on anything I attack and -185% cold res with blizz (infinity+cold mastery). Both are highly effective in 8 player games and cheap in comparison to other gear.

Why pay more for something that does the same job? Work smart not hard.
