Hi lads,

I play pretty much only in solo games and trade a bit on d2jsp, never use any bots or maphacks or anything and I am thinking of a new character for this coming ladder. I want to be able to do Chaos Sanctuary with this character, in reasonable time, and perhaps some other areas like Travincal/Pindleskin/Eldrich. Of course for new ladder I usually just made a sorceress, or if bored I made an Enigma-less hammerdin and did Chaos runs until enough good shit dropped to buy an Enigma Last ladder I instead made a Bowazon and ran CS with that, was super fun and the character had no problems clearing CS Hell even with poverty gear. What other PVM build can do something similar? What could I play and clear CS with in 10-15 minutes with poverty gear? I won't be buying anything expensive, instead I'll just work up to that through CS runs.

Basically tldr version:
PVM character for mainly CS, also MF
Not Sorc/hammer/bowazon
needs to clear CS with entry level gear on new ladder

Summoner or Bone Nec with max CE?
Java with strong Merc? Maybe obedience until you can buy Infy for immune?

Assassin is safe and quick
Can be built to have decent lightning, cold, physical, fire and poison damage. Choose 2 or more for more dmg in one

dude go for a howl/zerk barb.

can clear chaos fast and safe and pop bodies with find item and have 2x gul daggers on switch etc.

bo mf and safe clearing.

I agree, trapassin is a good choice. Light + death sentry will allow you to kill pretty much anything. Shadow master can be an excellent tank. Plus you get burst of speed and fade.
