Should I bother putting points into the Wearwolf skill? I’m in act 2 normal and trying to figure out what to do with skill points so far it’s
2 wearwolf 10 lyncanthrophy 2 feral rage 1 rabies and the heart of the oak and 1 dire wolf. What should I do with my skill points?

I was recently in the same place as you. I too just started a fury druid.
right now I would go for WW if you don't plan to respect.
that said...
you will have a rough time through till NH Andy when you can farm for bonesnap, ribcracker and such
what I recommend and what I tested on P8 is max Rabies
I might recommend respecing or just outright restart.
if you do

3 lyncan
1 WW
max rabies
1 oak
rest into creeper

trust me this is the way to go.
once you got to NH Andy you can respect and farm your gear for the rest of the playthrough

if you keep on your path you are going to be watching your merc play the game
but if you don't take my advice
take feral rage to 5-10
the points into WW till fury.

I followed this guide for my fury ww. Scored me a Perfect PTorch in HCL

Also you can always reset your stats if you mess up so don't worry
