So if i already killed NM andy and wanted to go back to normal and re-roll maps..

Would the andy quest still be bugged when i come back to Nightmare?

iirc, when i rerolled my maps, it stayed bugged.

So like, I’m drunk rn, not gonna lie. But this question is fucking amazing. This game came out like twenty years ago and we are on a forum talking about the specific mechanics behind a bug in the games code. For fucks sake man, that blows me away.

If the Andariel quest bug succeeded in the game when your character killed her for the quest on Nightmare difficulty, then said character will indefinitely receive quest quality drops from killing her on Nightmare difficulty.

The three (3) additional gems from the quest kill (which I mentioned in post #50 of your Hurlwind walkthrough) are restricted to the quest kill.
