does this way to enable ladder runewords still work?

im asking because i had to create the data folder, and the global folder as well as the excel folder

in the image it shows there are many other files but i just have this single one inside.

also does it affect my d2 in any case if i login to bnet?

Yes I did it a few days ago and it works fine.

As far as b.net goes no idea.
