I made a single player barb for giggles myself.
What kinda weapon should i use?
It's a huge fucking struggle to kill shit right now, with the random rare shit i've found so far.
And no it's not an option for me to turn down the player setting

Except maybe the insight everything is doable in a4 normal. Try cube recipe of: any staff, kris, belt and any kind of diamond, you can get up to 80ed exceptional polearm. If you are lucky, you will get a partizan with more than 100max dmg...this will cut everything down in a4 normal...

i usually use a steel or malice flail in slot over boots(equiped first) then a gambled war hammer in slot over gloves for damage, war hammers have huge damage for normal. If you swap weapons or leave the game, unequip war hammer over gloves and reequip it. Lets you swing much faster with either doubleswing or frenzy this way.

Tbis is also nice if you play with 2 weapons. You can try to to socket a gambled war hammer in your cube with 3 chipped gems. I remember I got once a 40ed 2os war hammer. Socket with 2 iths for +18maxdamage

3 chip gem. get a 2 socket cubed %ed max dmg weapon of uour choice like flamberge or w/e 2x ral
