I am going to attempt my first ever walk through.

To keep it simple my goal will be Hell Baal.

I will be using PlugY for extended stash and runewords.

My starting character will be Holy Shock Zealer!

So far I am lvl 18 just made it to jail lvl 1 WP.

Since this is my first WT ever I would appreciate any advice for maybe some goals before I advance to each act / difficulty.

What gear should I try to achieve, items to craft, rw's to make? Any advice from you veterans who completed the journey before would be much appreciated.

Also Hardcore and P8 at all times. I don't necessarily need to beat the game as holy shock I just thought it would be a fun start till I need to switch to classic zealer.

If you play as elemental zealer at the beginning, try to maximize your attack speed. "Steel" runeword in a flai or scimitar works wonders with holy fire/shock early. Try to run countess untill you have enough runes for ancients pledge (4 rals needed only) and stealth. 3os pally shield is easy to obtain in a1, one with the lowest resists will do they job. This will fill most of your item slots untill end of normal.
So: steel, stealth, ancients pledge, other slots you can fill up with random items. Elemental zealers are the easiest chars to start with, ghey are my personal favourites.

I was just planning to make a steel but I wasn't thinking about maximizing attack speed. I'm glad I saw your post before I made it in a different base. I will probably shop a 2os scimmy or sabre from charsi. As soon as I get cata 2 WP im gonna run countess for a bit.
