Everyone Meet Fashion - Overly conscious about his looks and appearance

Rules:
- ASAP, must always coordinate his weapon(s), armor, helm color.
- HC P8
- Ladder rune words ON
- No plugy but will mule a few items off char since I'll have to keep an extensive number of options available. Nothing excessive and colored gear only.
- I am allowing the use off additional tokens that I've farmed on another single player character since I'm not quite sure which builds/gear I can work around. Currently only have (1)
- Have fun

This is my first walk through, and first time doing a HC P8 single player.

I don't really know what to expect here or what my end game goals are, but I'm starting none the less. Frenzy for now and going to shoot for some open socket items with chipped rubies for RED.

I lucked out and Bishibosh was located RIGHT NEXT to CP waypoint. I decided to farm him until I got my first set of color coordinated gear.
I don't expect to be taking many s/s in action since I'm not very fast at taking them and first time HC


Farming Bishibosh was a bad idea. Most of his drops looked like this. After farming until like level 12 I got enough rubies to make a chest/cap/scepter red - no colored rare items yet.



Also forgot I had 2 weapons (yikes), still need that. TBH not too happy with the turn out of my red gear, the physical appearance is not really noticable. I guess you have to get into higher level gear that show more colors. Cmon hawkmail!

I'm hoping for a grief PB/levi/Vgaze for end gear? thats assuming I'll make it to hell. I dont know of any green shields so I guess I'll rock a rare shield until I can find a 2nd Lo
edit: were a long ways from there though.

NM gear I'm hoping for a blue barb helm, butchers, and IDK what armor yet. Is iceblink blue?

You can change your resolution in video settings to make it bigger

Saved up some sapphire gems to try out some different gear. I combined it with a rare blue dagger I have.

Blue looked much better since it was more noticeable than the red. but the damage was awful. Went back to my red scepters shortly after.





Wouldn't it be nice to be this blue all the time?

Great map if runes were useful for me. I'll still try to get some ral's I guess for damage. I figure I'll have to rely heavily on gemmed weapons for the first few acts if not more. I'll gem the first socket for color then add some Tal/Ral for damage?



I always thought it was cool how the chest pops on the quest kill and never again. One vivid thing I remember from my D2 youth days.

I haven't had much time on this guy, but I finally made a little bit of progress.



Anderial was easy, she left Gulzar a wonderful starting polearm. He is much appreciative



I ran her a few more times and didn't gain much. An mf ammy, Clegaws gloves, Hsaurs Belt.



Back to progression and I found this unique sabre. It turns out that it DOES have a blue appearance to it. So I switched back to my blue gear so I can use it

Once this crystal sword dropped it dawned on me....

"Crystal swords are blue, I can actually make some RW's in these swords and still follow my fashion statement".

This was a major game changer in terms of my plan for Normal. I had already put 3 pts into axe mastery assuming I would end up farming butchers and progressing with that. Now I have to rethink what I'm going to do here.



Cleglaws gloves (knockback) + Howl makes A2 EASY.



Got my cube and was able to make a little bit of space. I see this being a continuous problem until I get some stable gear.
