/edit however. test was stupid yes. but initial cause for paranoia stands. i restarted did /players 8 and in that game i got slapped by a frog did pretty good dmg to me.

few runs later same frog mob hit me did barely any dmg. making me paranoid my players 8 command wasnt saving game to game

Thanks. I just had that little incident and the fear of my 1400 lk runs being on players 1 set in. I needed reassurance that that wasn’t the case.

Think it depends on plugy version.

I used to play on plugy 10.0. In order for the settings to be saved you had to enter players 8 like ~10 times in a row for it to be the starting difficulty in all future games.

Since yesterday im using plugy 11.0. Here it always uses the last setting and it also confirms it by posting "players set to C" in chat whenever you enter a new game.

Only 98% sure about first part though ...

First time ever downloading it was 8 days ago lol. Also my first time in 17 years that I’ve done a single player playthrough. After 17 years of mulling and having everything I want on d2 in an instant the features of plugy are almost a must for me to tolerate single player lol. With that being said I’m having a lot of fun(well the lk grind not so much but knowing it will provide me my runes it’s not bad)

Btw I’m gonna test this players 8 shit by making a new character
