Is it possible to clear uber trist as hammerdin solo in single player?
i have some decent gear, but not sure if i should give it a try?

ubers can not spawn in singleplayer

Why is keys dropping then?

keys drop but for no use in sp diablo 2 lord of nonsenses.

if you want to beat ut with your hammerdin you need to turn him into a smiter. Get crushing blow, life tap, cbf, stacked resists and at least 7fpa smite

make sure to equip shaco as well per darraju

Yes it's possible. Hammers for raw damage and crushing blow / open wounds from the mercenary.

With Plugy it's even simpler because there is no minion spawning, so you can keep the merc alive a lot easier.

Keep in mind all 6 Pandemonium Event bosses have 75% magic resistance.
