I've come back tot he game recently after a 15 year hiatus. I am trying to figure out how some many bots are active, even on the ladder, without getting bans; even people who are actively playing i've seen using maphack. Does blizzard no longer drop the ban hammer on people using maphack, or people obviously running bots?

Do you guyus use maphack? how often do you get banned for using it?

I've gotten temp bans probably a dozen times in the past 2 months, just from trying to switch items between characters. Its frustrating, and it ticks me off, and i see people using maphack and there don't appear to be consequences.

Because people buying multiple cd keys to bot are where most of blizzard’s d2 profit comes from. Sadly they value short term profit over player experience.

easy solution to that. Remaster the game and sell skins for item and characters - boom
