Hey all! I decided to post my progress as Tkn, The Necro Summoner. I was inspired to play Single Player when I read some of the WT's that were done here. I've always wanted to do a legit WT and learning I could do a command like P8 really got me hyped up, so I created a guy a few days ago and I just arrived in A1 Nightmare! I then decided, "Hey, I think I want to stream my progress as I go for people to check out and ask questions if they want." So here I am, basically skipped the boring part and now we're in Nightmare! Luckily, the exp from p8 is so good, my levels are carrying me through the acts; It will catch up very soon I'm sure.

I will be posting when I'm streaming, probably once a day, in this thread for you all to view, or view past streams you may have missed. I thought this would be a cool way to to show you guys what I've been up to in game I'll still try to post SS's for the people who prefer the "still" version.

** Player 8 @ all times
** Allowed to re-farm cleared content
- I just crafted a Spirit CS
- Lvl 50 currently

Lots of progress is up on the stream if you want to catch some gameplay. Currently I'm in act 1 hell and my army just cannot keep up. I got lucky with a few drops but it's still not good enough!

I suppose at this point I'll need to do some magic find. NM cows was kind if a bust because its super slow and I only have 1pt into CE. I'm all summoner with remaining pts into bone wall for synergy with bone armor. It takes like 3 minutes to kill meph and maybe a minute and a half for Andy. Not sure what else to farm. Suggestions?

is it worth farming ancient tunnels, pits, ect in nightmare? They do have some of the highest iLVL mobs in NM...

Starting to lose motivation because of the slow summoner playstyle. My army can't kill nm cows or even cold plains in hell. My CE is kind of lacking in radius and my army is lacking damage. I feel this build really requires a ton of +skills or a huge damage boost. Sadly, I need to get to hell a3 at least so I can farm LK for Cta and beast runes. Anything with teleport charges would be nice too. I've also tried to farm CS in nightmare but no luck. It's very frustrating just GETTING to the CS because I have those stupid maggot lair guys spawning so much and the AI is horrible , Haha.

Thinking of respecting to bone but I feel like that would be cheating myself since it is a summoner WT. Maybe I can go bone for a little to farm then spec back to minions once I find some gear.

Any suggestions or tips you can give?

In hell it's basicly merc that's doing all the work, make sure you focus on him

I am also walking a summoner atm, I just made it to hell pits but it is very slow. I am never in danger and rarely use a heath pot but progress is like watching paint dry.

Yeah this is my only thought as well. Sadly I got like 2 pts into CE atm. I'm level 75. Gonna have to do a few baal runs I guess to pump CE.

Word. This is how I feel. I'm gonna try CE pumping and hopefully that works out.

I wonder how much beast will make a difference? I am 1 sur away plus a decent base but I am not sure if I should make beast before enigma.
