Just had a question about my MF routing/efficiency...
When I first started I read "farm lvl 85 areas", and proceeded to farm AT about 200 times. Didn't yield anything, which I know is not crazy given only 200 runs, but I got very bored.
I slowly started farming other areas until I started running basically everything in each game, I usually follow this path:
1) Andy
2) Lost tunnels
3) Meph
4) Chaos + diablo
5) Walk WSK (if spawns are not CI)
6) Baal
I am a blizz sorc hence no pits. I've been doing this for about a week, maybe 100 circuits total, and am blown away. I've found from this pathing: 4 x shako, arach, nightwing, eth eschutas, hoz, sur rune, 2 x trang gloves, 2 x aldur boots, 2 x tal belt, 2 x tal ammy, and a bunch of other random semi-usefull stuff. The total run takes probably 10-15 minutes for everything.
I've heard running baal is too slow to be worthwhile, yet a lot of my items (nightwing, eth eschutas, set stuff) have come from him. So do other people do this? Is my luck on some ungodly level, or could I really have found these items and more if I had spent all this time farming AT?
eth eschutas and shakos arent good drops to begin with
secondly its all rng
blizz is best for AT so farming this only should reward better on the long run
