i know up to zod can drop from graves/bodies in some areas, but i cant find any documentation on it.

According to http://diablo.wikia.com/wiki/Zod_Rune the treasure class of Zod is Act 5 (H) Good. If you look in the patch_d2.mpq -> TreasureClassEx.txt file, you will see that Act 5 (H) Chest A, Act 5 (H) Chest B and Act 5 (H) Chest C can drop from the treasure class Act 5 (H) Good.
