Whats best sorc build is most effective with tals set. And mf in hell. Suggestions appreciated

for meph/andy/ tunnels- blizz sorc
for keys- fb/lightning

Mainly , shenk , pindle , Baal ..

More specific. Energy shield? Vitality base?

Vitaility always
If you want to farm shenk you cannot use cold so blizz is out
If you can afford infinity light
If you cant meteorb

Light sorc w/o using Tal set

If adamant to use Tal set, FO/FB

Pure viita builds are popular on jsp, but I think max block is much better for survivability if you can get 700+ health, which is pretty easy. Rhyme has mf, res, and good block. It's also cheap. My buddy set up a "durability" calculator and without max block, it's pitiful how squishy you are even with 75 all res. Even blind teleporting with 105 fcr, a pack of skellies or dolls or anything can 1-shot you.

Most people don't like ES due to a bug and mana burn monsters being abundant in hell. So definitely vita, but I think vita + block is the way to go.

Id rather have
Higher damage
Not getting stuck in block
Hgiher life

Shields dont block elemental damage monsters...
You should not be getting hit by melee monsters

Wasting ao many points in block to be able to get 1 shot by any monster hat touches you is not worth it

Spirit shield is better for surviability
