Someone told me that after a point (5+ rolls), iLvl from baal or diablo GC change, and they become worthless

Is that true ? Or can I roll a dia / baal GC till I get something good even if it takes 50+ rolls ?

There are some mechanics like this when you cube an item from low quality to normal quality with some of the cube recipes, where it sets the item's item level to 1 no matter where it was found. This can give you control over socketing properties.

But this has nothing to do with cubing charms with 3 perfect gems. The item level of the charm will always stay the same, no matter if you cube it 10 000 times.
