Hello,

I know this topic has been covered here, I've tried to look but those threads don't mention the solutions, only people giving help through pms.

So, I knew about the old procedure of creating the Data/Global/Excel/Runes.txt file in the Diablo II folder in My Program Files.

However I saw that for Windows 10 and the new update Diablo had? Not sure about that one. I have to put those folders and the Runes.txt into the Saved Games/Diablo II/.

I did both methods and tried both at the same time and I can't seem to get it to work. I copied the Runes.txt file from d2jsp.

I was also doing the -direct -txt in the Shortcut.

You have to remove the .txt

I did the same things a few days ago. To the comp it will show up as runes.txt.txt when to you it shows runes.txt

Thanks, but that's what I've been doing for a while and had done in the past to make it work... Now it still doesn't work.. I don't know what's wrong :/

That's how it is set-up. Maybe it's the Runes file that has a problem in it? I copied the one from d2jsp though...

I only have Diablo II installed. I also tried reinstalling Diablo a couple times and still nothing. I'm really at lost as to why it doesn't work.

Also I was messing around with Hero Editor and I found out that if I import a Ladder Runeword into a Single Player game and I have the Runemod active. The item doesn't appear to exist in the single player game. However as soon as I remove the mod, the item appears. I think it's related to the Runes.txt file, maybe it has errors in it? But I don't know how to fix it really...

Some ppl had problems with a space as first sign im the txt.

The file you copy can give an error sometimes. Let me pm you to help.

Alright so PikaBhew helped me solve this issue. The issue was entirely on the Runes.txt file, the one that I copied from d2jsp is not accurate and won't work. I downloaded it from a link that PikaBhew gave me and it worked very easily. I don't know what to do for the others that needs the file? Maybe update the d2jsp code or something? Anyways thanks everyone :)

I figured out that the issue by copying the code from this site is the formating, it's all crammed up together, that's the only difference I saw from the version Pika sent me and the version from this site.
